Overview

U-APAC PG (Unified Asia-Pacific Payment Gateway) is an architectural research project and prototype exploring how to unify fragmented payment networks across the Asia-Pacific region.

The initial phase focuses on robust compatibility with Indonesian payment rails, including QRIS, bank virtual accounts, and regional e-wallets, establishing a verified foundation before expanding across borders.

The Problem It Addresses

The APAC payment landscape is deeply fragmented, with each country operating distinct domestic clearing networks and regulatory frameworks. Engineering teams frequently struggle with maintaining dozens of disparate gateway SDKs and reconciliation formats.

Experiment Focus

  • Unified API abstraction layer covering multiple settlement rails
  • Native compatibility with Indonesian payment schemes (QRIS, VA, domestic transfers)
  • Low-latency, secure transaction routing with immutable audit trails
  • Automated multi-currency reconciliation mechanics for regional scalability

Current Shape

U-APAC PG is in technical prototype stage, validating transaction state machines and settlement adapter reliability.
